agentTool III has an update site that makes it to add and update all agentTool plugins within Eclipse. The instructions for installing agentTool III and updating agentTool III are given below. Installing agentTool III Use the URL http://agenttool.cis.ksu.edu/update/ for the update URL. ************************************************************************************* Galileo (3.5) 1.- Install the aT3 plugin from remote server a.- Click on "Help"->"Install New Software ..." b.- Click on "Add" c.- Set Name to "aT3" and Set Location to "http://agenttool.cis.ksu.edu/update/" d.- Click on "OK" e.- Select aT3 from the "Work with" List f.- Check agentTool3 - Core (APE does not currently work in Galileo) g.- Click on "Next" (this may take a few minutes) h.- Click "Finish" i.- Click "Ok" to acknowledge aT3 is "unsigned" h.- Click "Yes" to restart Eclipse
Ganymede (3.4) - we suggest using 3.4.2 or above 1.- Install the aT3 plugin from remote server a.- Click on "Help"->"Install New Software ..." b.- Click on "Add" c.- Set Location to "http://agenttool.cis.ksu.edu/update/" d.- Click on "OK" e.- Check box next to "http://agenttool.cis.ksu.edu/update/" f.- Click "Install..." (this may take a few minutes) g.- Click "Next" h.- Select "I accept the terms ..." and click "Finish" h.- Click "Yes" to restart Eclipse
Eclipse Europa (3.3) 1.- Install GEF (see http://www.eclipse.org/gef/) 2.- Install the aT3 plugin from local aT3 update site a.- Select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install. Select Search for new features to install. Click Next. b.- Click the New Remote Site button. c.- Give the update site a name, such as agentTool III, and type in the update site URL: http://agenttool.cis.ksu.edu/update/. Click OK. A new update site will be added to the list. d.- Check the update site that you just created and click Finish. e.- Press the + button next to the agentTool plug-in. This will list all possible features you can install. f.- Select the features that you want to install. Click Next. g.- You will need to accept the terms of the licence agreement(s) of the feature(s) that you are installing. h.- Click Next. i.- A list of feature(s) you are installing will be provided. Click Finish to start the install. j.- You will need to verify the features that you installed. Click Install or Install All to finish the installation. k.- You will now be asked to restart the workbench. Click Yes. |
